Our restaurant serves delicious homemade dishes using organic, fresh, wild, local, seasonal & some quite unique home-grown ingredients.

We have a table menu and in addition to this we have our daily specials board which changes frequently.

Food is served throughout the day providing everything from a snack to a hearty homemade meal.  A great venue for catching up with friends & family or for people travelling looking for a pit stop.

Our breakfast menu is served 9am (10am Sunday) until 11:30am. Our lunch menu and specials are served 12-3pm. All hot food stops at 3pm daily. 

Our chefs have produced a menu trying to use as much local and organic produce which has been key to the success of the restaurant at Cross Lanes. 

Throughout the menu, all dietary requirements are catered for including gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan. Please ask a member of staff upon ordering. 

Organic Coffee

Coffee Served

All good restaurants require a quality coffee and we’ve got just that. 

We use Fika Coffee from Matt, based in Durham. We use Brazil, Bom Jesus beans. It has a dark chocolate, hazelnut, creamy flavour with full body.

We use a different roast for the filter coffee, at the moment this is the Colombia, Tablon De Gomez. Its tasting notes are cocoa, mandarin, caramel but these beans do change depending on the season! 

Our coffees are available to takeaway as well – so if you bring along your own travel cup we would be happy to make a drink for you in that!

We sell retail bags in the farm shop of the Fika coffee. So if you have enjoyed a coffee in the restaurant you can buy a bag to enjoy at home.
